Oecanthus - female

Oecanthus - Female
Shaw Nature Reserve, Franklin County, Missouri, USA
July 5, 2014
Unfortunately I didn't get a frontal shot of the antennae....I'll know better next time.

Unfortunately,
females are nearly impossible to ID without the antennal markings. The overall yellowish tinge might suggest O. quadripunctatus -- however, this could be a teneral (newly molted) individual of another species.

Thanks W O
If I see another I'll be sure to get the antennal markings.
