Calosaturnia albofasciata - Male Female

This species is the smallest Saturniid in North America. This species is very rare. A unique feature of this species is the that the male flies during the day.

Male Callosamia promethea
Male Callosamia promethea also fly late afternoon into evening. At least some Hemileuca fly near mid-day.
