After torrential rains these critters were found all along the cypress board walk railing - literally hundreds.

The relatively blunt posterior margins of the mid-body paranota distinguish these from Othromorpha coaractata (AKA Asiomorpha coarctata)

Paradoxosomatidae
Order Polydesmida ("flat backed millipedes"), family Paradoxosomatidae. The most common species is Oxidus gracilis, but there are others in Florida. All are non native.
