Identification
Wing with finely mottled pattern, wing venation with cell cup having an acute angle in posteroapical corner, alula present, R2+3 without stump vein; ocellar setae well-developed; hind tibia gradually tapering at base (not strongly constricted there); face with median keel.(1)(2)
Range
S. valida e. half of the US, S. nelsoni so. AZ
