Millipede - Harpaphe haydeniana

Millipede - Harpaphe haydeniana
Iron Horse State Park, King County, Washington, USA
May 21, 2014
Size: ~3.5 cm
This is probably one of the flat-backed millipedes, Order Polydesmida. If so, I would guess it to be a cyanide milliped, specifically Harpaphe haydeniana.

Credit goes to Deborah Bandrosky for helping me spot this.

Rod Crawford agrees
Rod looked at this image and says it "...has to be H. haydeniana. Only one other western WA species looks like this, and it wouldn't be in that habitat."

Agreed
Nice find, I love the colorful millipedes.
