Cychramus adustus? I didn't see any NC records. Thanks, Paul

Moved from Beetles.

Cychramus have much rounder body and no suberect hair
might be Pocadius helvolus, can't be sure
incidentally, C. adustus is known to occur from New Brunswick to Georgia along the coast; (unfortunately, the old NCSU insect coll'n database is no longer online --it was sketchy and simple but quite handy as a checklist)

I thought I had a good one . I've ben using the new Beetle book, but as you can see it hasn't helped that much. Thanks again, for all the recent IDs and info. Paul
