Abbott's Sphinx caterpillar - Sphecodina abbottii

Size: 43 mm
When I found it at the bottom of the collecting jar a couple days ago in a pool of brown liquid, I thought it had died. It's half as long as the previous instar.

Prepupal
Soon it will pupate. Place in a container with shredded paper towels so that it's not sitting in liquid.
