Brachiacantha indubitabilis - male
This is a new species for BG!
The tibial spine on the foreleg marks this as genus Brachiacantha; no other North American genus has a similar feature. Hyperaspis and Brachiacantha can be otherwise very similar but the tibial spine will always separate the genera.

Thanks Abigail. I should have remembered about the tibial spine, but at least you checked and identified a new one for the guide!
