what are these? - Tenuirostritermes

I found these in my front yard during the evening hours. They were coming out of a hole in the ground and had three separate paths they were traveling, they traveled many at a time. My husband picked up a leaf with some on them and one of them raised their mandible like things at him. Just wondering what these are.
