Found on a lily with white flowers (I don't think it was Lilium candidum; the leaves were different), one of several of these plants which had been planted in a parking lot. There were dozens of these beetles a couple of weeks ago but I wasn't able to get back to the area with a camera until today. This was the only beetle I could find.
