geometrid ID
I browsed through the thumbnails of
Canadian geometrids
and didn't find any "dead ringers" -- not surprising, as I imagine Louisiana would have many species not found up here. If you know of any resources for southern US geometrids, I suggest looking at the genus Scopula first, then at others in the subfamily Sterrhinae before checking the Larentiinae. Here's three sample
