Dragonfly - Red Saddlebags - Tramea onusta - female

Dragonfly - Red Saddlebags - Tramea onusta - Female
32.131 -97.854, Somervell County, Texas, USA
July 17, 2014
(Edited) Initially I couldn't get this one. Thanks for help. Some seemed close, such as Celithemis amanda, but not quite right. For example on that one, comparing to descriptions and other BG images, abdomen has almost no brown, head is yellow behind eyes. Also the semi-transparent reddish strips in wings. Anal loop does not seem very similar to other images. I added a second image with my interpretation of triangles and loop, which of course may be completely wrong. It flew before I could get a better angle for wings.

Moved
Moved from Dragonflies.

Looks to be onusta

Thanks, I had just started to
Thanks, I had just started to add Tramea onusta as a maybe. But no other BG images of females (?)with sharp focus on wing veins or back of eyes to compare to.
