Identification
Typical of the subfamily Larentiinae, Orthonama species have banded forewings, drab hindwings, and slender bodies in comparison to wing size, making the moth appear fragile. (CBIF)

Remarks
the former O. centrostrigaria (Bent-line Carpet) was placed in the genus Costaconvexa by Malcolm Scoble et al in 1999 (Geometrid Moths of the World)
