Given the stinkbug prey...
I'd be more inclined to go with Bicyrtes a stinkbug hunter, rather than Bembix, a fly hunter. But wait for an expert.

That makes a lot of sense. Looks a lot like Bicyrtes quadrifasciatus, given "the increasing distance between the pairs of tergal bands."
