Chrysotus sp., female
Moved from Diaphorinae. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks John.

Long arista
Does the long arista give any clue?

I'm not sure
-Legs entirely yellow
-coxae yellow, middle one with small dark streak
-front richly violet-colored
-antennae completely dark-yellowish (photo shows apical segment darker than what I see on specimen)
-last antennal segment unusual, taller than long, arista apical, set in a "notch", making it appear almost like short spikes are on each side of arista .. closest to Fig 30 (varipes) of Van Duzee 1924

This is, of course, presuming I have the correct genus. Did you have thoughts regarding the long arista? Am I missing something?
