Lachesilla contraforcepeta - male

Lachesilla contraforcepeta - Male
Lockhart, Caldwell County, Texas, USA
July 21, 2014
Size: 1.9 mm
Found on Eastern Red Cedar. I performed a dissection on a male from this group of specimens and my slide turned out very well. The phallosome, hyandrium and claspers look remarkably like Fig. 193 in (1). This is definitely contraforcepata. You can't see it in this image, but there are 2 red bars between the antennal socket and the cd. eye.
