Stylogaster neglecta Williston, male
ID confirmed from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks John.

In addition to the long third antennal (flagellum), the elongate ocellar triangle is distinctive and will separate it from the other eastern species, S. biannulata (Say).

Moved
Moved from Stylogaster.

The "sausage-shaped" flagellum of the antenna is more than 2 times the length of scape (= basal antennal segment), which indicates species neglecta here.

The truncate tip of the abdomen (no tapering ovipositor) indicates this is a male.
