Unknown Wasp -
Arge illuminata
Grindstone Reservoir in Ruidoso, Lincoln County, New Mexico, USA
July 25, 2014
Plant is Asclepias subverticillata and seems to be very popular with inverts.
Would appreciate an ID on the wasp.
TIA

Argidae
Arge illuminata Smith. Some unusual species of Arge occur in the Southwest and Mexico. This certainly fits the color description of A. illuminata, which has been recorded only from Texas and Mexico.
