Unknown white moth - Xanthotype

Unknown white moth - Xanthotype
southern Adirondacks, Saratoga County, New York, USA
July 19, 2014
Size: 2-4 cm
Photo taken on 2nd-floor window at 6:14 a.m. Temp in 50s. House is located in a small clearing in mixed hardwood/softwood forest. Some wild and garden flowers nearby.

Bears some resemblance to Photo#742395 of Sitochroa palealis, taken nearby, but my unidentified moth never rested with its wings in the delta shape.
