Shouldn't this be moved to Messor?
Or onto a new page?

Sorry, we were changing Hymenoptera
and moved all the ant images that were sitting on the old Suborder page to the Family page. Must confess we didn't even look at the images, just moved them. Will look into this.

Hey, you've got a lot to do. No apology needed.
Glad I was able to help, assuming you call what I did that. Basically, when you indicate a move, the poster is alerted, so then they have a chance to straighten things out. I just happened to subscribe to this one, so I butted in.

Richard definitely a harveste
Richard definitely a harvester, Messor pergandei. This species is THE desert harvester and is the only ant currently active at my house in the Mojave. The are about the most cold active desert ant around.
