Cross-grain eucnemid larvae - Melasis pectinicornis Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA February 27, 2007
These two larvae differ in appearance primarily because one's scleroterized areas are darker, leading me to speculate that the lighter one had recently moulted.
