Cross-grain eucnemid - Melasis pectinicornis - male

Cross-grain eucnemid - Melasis pectinicornis - Male
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
February 27, 2007
Size: about 7 mm
This is a teneral (newly eclosed) adult male if I'm not mistaken. I saw two antennal forms in this eucnemid batch and this is the larger, more elaborate form.
