It did remind me
of the Cordilura I was finding but I really don't know. Unfortunately this specimen got smooshed so I discarded it.

 
Looks like it was teneral
so it would have been easily smooshed. :)

 
Caught another one
and it looked the same so maybe they just look like this?

 
Most Scathophagidae look weird
Scathophagidae look weird. It's one of their defining characters from my point of view.
