Seneca Robber - Diogmites basalis

Seneca Rocks, Pendleton County, West Virginia, USA
July 31, 2014

This D. basalis was quite red when viewed in flight, and clearly larger than the more common robber flies.

Filling in West Virginia on the BG map.
