Conotrachelus aratus (Germar), female
ID tentatively confirmed from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom.

Females are tough to tell apart from C. tibialis.

Moved tentatively
Moved from Conotrachelus.

dying to know what it is... aratus?
with this narrow, rather cylindrical, coarsely punctate pronotum, elongate, parallel-sided elytra, and the pale band with straight anterior edge; wondering what the elytra elytra look like in profile view
an abraded juglandis? the ridges don't match elegans

Conotrachelus aratus
We should get a confirmation eventually. It's either with Brad already in the huge batch I sent earlier, or in another batch I have waiting to ship to him.

yeah, i know
