Carin's Tarantula Hawk Wasp - Pepsis pallidolimbata - female

Carin's Tarantula Hawk Wasp - Pepsis pallidolimbata - Female
Boulder City, Clark County, Nevada, USA
July 19, 2014
Size: 1.5"
This wasp chased me around my kitchen.

Moved
Moved from Pepsini.

Definitely Pepsis from apically rounded marginal cell with tip separated from costal wing margin, and 1st recurrent vein meeting 2nd submarginal cell in apical 1/3 of its length.

Mostly pale wings with hyaline tips and no dark submarginal band indicates species pallidolimbata. Curled antennae w/ 10 flagellomeres implies this is a female.

Female!
Sickraiderfan, she looks just like this female Pepsis pallidolimbata, from your state:
Good Luck!
