Explanation of Names
Hyaliodes harti Knight, 1941
Size
Length 5.0 – 5.3 mm
Identification
Adults are elongate, hyaline or glassy in appearance, with long slender legs and large reddish eyes.
Kelton (1) key features: Collar and calli black. Scutellum black at base. Apical margin of corium red
Knight (2) other features: Median pronotal line always light. Antennae, first segment, bright red. Distinguished from vitripennis by the longer first antennal segment (see See Also section below)

Habitat
Collected on a vast variety of trees: apple, pear, peach, raspberry, plum, grape, etc.
Season
mostly: Jun-Aug.
Food
Predaceous on mites, aphids, psyllids, and other small arthropods.
