Is this ID correct? See for the first specimen. I had one that was darker and one that was lighter. This shows the hind wing.

Thanks for the correction. I just got a BOLD result back from a different but similar specimen that was Ostrinia penitalis and I was already questioning this one myself but had not studied it enough to move it. I remember that something in the hindwing markings was what made me place it.
