Black and yellow beetles - Necrophila americana

Size: 2 inches approx.
The legs you see to the left belong to a Mourning Cloak Butterfly. In fact, there are two Mourning Cloaks and a Red Admiral butterfly within inches of these beetles, and the butterflies and beetles have been in the exact same spot for two days.
