Acleris sp. - Acleris pulverosana

Acleris sp. - Acleris pulverosana
Oak Ridge, Guilford County, North Carolina, USA
August 3, 2014
Size: ~8mm
A new one for me. Didn't match anything in Peterson exactly.

Moved
Moved from Acleris youngana.

Why not youngana?
More importantly, is the similar example of youngana at MPG (3rd spread specimen) incorrect?

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Looks like Acleris youngana 3550

Thanks, cwmelton. Must be right.
Peterson says there is sometimes an additional dash in apical section of forewing.
This Acleris group has a lot of variiation within species: i.e.:
Acleris variana
as well as youngana.
