I could not take a pic front facing. He was facing away from me on top of a wall ledge. I noticed recently that there is more than one hanging out on the other side of the wall now.

This is Xenox tigrinus. Larvae are parasites of carpenter bees.

 
Behaviors
That was a fast ID! I researched and I see they do not bite or sting. They are pretty sizable and a bit scary though! Crazy how big thee things are! I will let it be and possibly name him! lol Thanks for your help!
