I think these are caterpillars from the Hodges #8241 – Euchaetes bolteri. I posted the moth that laid the eggs at . This is the first instar. I decided to raise the eggs hoping to have a black male pupate. Unfortunately, I only had females pupate.

11/15/2021 - The host plant was asclepias asperula or Antelope Horn Milkweeed.
