I wondered about this,
still have a couple of other images from Eaton Canyon, but was busy with house chores.
So, thanks, John, for the ID!

Wow!
I'm glad you got to this first. I would surely have called her an Osmia:-) Never seen a metallic andrenid before....

Interesting,
Osmia was my thought as I looked through the lens. On my computer screen, I saw the three submarginals which rule out Megachilidae as far as I know. However, I didn't get farther than a mental listing of some possibilities. Happily, John came to the rescue!
Out of curiosity I looked for species names indicating either 'green' or Osmia-like. This doesn't get me any closer to a species ID, but I wanted to know about green Andrena: A. viridescens (RED-listed in Germany), viridigastra (Uzbekistan), viridissima (subgenus Derandrena, from San Benito, CA).
I also found (all on Discover Life) an Andrena I'd like to look for next time I'm in the Winnemucca, NV, area: A. winnemuccana. That town used to post ads reading "5 billion people have never been there". Very few of 6.5 billion people have ever heard of Andrena winnemuccana (listed as "vulnerable" - due to heap-leach mining in the area?). Now I'm really curious! OOPS - collected at Owyhee Dam, OR)
