I used to think anything that looked like this was an earwig. Now, I think anything that looks like this is a ro*ve be*etle. Found under bark in a recently amputated tree.

The "pincers" in the back tell you that is what it is. I don't blame you for thinking it is a rove beelte though, they look very similar!


I think it is a male, but not sure.
