Trapdoor spiderlings - Ummidia

Trapdoor spiderlings - Ummidia
Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, USA
March 6, 2007
Size: 4-5mm
Found 76 of these spiderlings on the side of the garage, 3' off the ground, in a cluster and dispersing rapidly. They were gone in an hour and a half. We have trapdoor spiders in the garden but no other mygalomorphs that we have seen here so we assume they are trapdoor spiders.
