Caterpillar with parasitoid eggs -
Euplectrus
Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, USA
August 7, 2014
I would really like any help identifying the caterpillar. I am rearing the parasitoids and with a bit of luck this could be a good host record.

Unsuccessful rearing
Unfortunately I was unable to successfully rear the parasitoids. They began to pupate but were overtaken by some kind of bacteria that was decomposing the remainder of the host caterpillar. Thank you all for your comments and help!

Panopoda Species
Most likely P. rufimargo, but one would need information on the host plant to confirm that.
