Karnack, Harrison County, Texas, USA
July 21, 2014
Size: 25mm
Found as part of a large group of larvae decimating an American Pokeweed (Phytolacca americana) plant. This particular individual was in the act of pupating by rolling up a host plant leaf, hence the color. Adult emerged the evening of 08/08, but wings failed to completely expand.
