Small ichneumonid, possibly Anomalon - Anomalon

Small ichneumonid, possibly Anomalon - Anomalon
Fredericton, York County, New Brunswick, Canada
August 9, 2014
Size: 10mm
In the last few days and in two locations in Fredericton I have seen and photographed this small species of wasp. The first one (maybe two) were on milkweed, and appeared to be feeding on it, or at least they stayed motionless with the head down. The second occurrence was on the Experimental Farm where I saw two together on the same leaf. Again, they appeared to be feeding. These are delicate and thin wasps, with bodies that were maybe 1 cm. [see published discussion HERE.]

A contributor suggested it might be Anomalon.

Honeydew?
It sounds as if they might have been feeding on honeydew. Any aphids present on those milkweeds?
