Dolichoderinae: Dorymyrmex
Sometimes known as crater ants or pyramid ants, species in this genus often construct such symmetrical arrays of excavated particles around their nest entrance. With the western component of the genus so badly in need of revision, I won't even venture this western species. (Now show me one from Florida and I might be able to do better.)
