Originally thought these looked like mites, but discounted since A. I found a spider nearby and B. I was never aware mites could produce web.

Spider mites
The "spiderlings" in this photo are actually spider mites. They are responsible for the webbing as well as the discoloration of the leaves.

That makes sense, I originally thought they were mites due to the shape. Then I found the female spider in one of the deeper parts of the web, and assumed it was that and that these had to be spiderlings.

I didn't know mites produced web either.
