Mating pair - Physocephala marginata - male - female

Mating pair - Physocephala marginata - Male Female
Atco, Camden County, New Jersey, USA
August 13, 2014
Found mating on young birch next to winged sumac which I found this was on. Physocephala marginata again?

Moved
Moved from Conopinae.

Correct again, Yurika. The pronounced "dash-like", yellow, humeral spots; red scutellum; hyaline discal cell; and the yellow cheek spot (barely visible in the male on top)...all point to P. marginata.

Another nice photo, and the first mating pair for this species on BugGuide :-)
