Dragonfly Nymph???

Dragonfly Nymph???
Los Gatos, Santa Clara County, California, USA
August 10, 2014
Size: 2 cm long
This insect was found hiding in the bottom of a small artificial pond. I suspect that it is a dragonfly nymph, and would welcome corrections and/or more precise ID. This photograph shows it submerged in water in a petri dish.
