i think one these bit me. i joined becouse of it. it was about one inch long and on cape cod.corection:not one of these, it was a difrint one all together.

Eurymerodesmus sp. (Polydesmida: Eurymerodesmidae), one of the several species that potentially can be found within the Houston city limits, where I have personally collected them. A rare native North American species in an urban environment; good to see an indigenous form as opposed to the introduced European & Asian species that dominate our cities.
