Not a Bee Fly: this is a Neme
Not a Bee Fly: this is a Nemestrinid, a Tangle-veined Fly. They're much rarer. It's an excellent find.

Thank you for the insect ID...I searched the web with no luck until you shared with me the ID. Doesn't seem they are around long before they disappear....seems late summer is when I see them. The noise when are flying is what attracted me to them. Probably one of my favorite insects to photograph & really enjoy watching them as they nectar.
