Tiny Parasitic Wasp - Conostigmus - Female

Size: <1 mm
As I opened a rearing container to inspect the fungi that I collected several days ago, this little wasp flew out and began to fly around the desk lamp. I recaptured it in a vial. The vial had quite a few scratches in it, and the wasp happened to pass over one of the scratch marks as I took this photo. So, sorry about the image quality.

Vial, other options
I use a UV filter from an old camera. It makes an excellent glass cage for tiny subjects. I learned this trick from John Carr.
