Identification
Similar to Noctua pronuba (Large Yellow Underwing) but hindwing has a small black arc, apparently lacking in N. pronuba.
Range
Currently occurs in Canada only in British Columbia: Vancouver area and southern Vancouver Island (Jeremy Tatum)
Remarks
A European species first seen in the Vancouver BC area in 1982.
