Ageniella placita placita - Ageniella placita - Female
Cincinnati, Forest Park, Hamilton County, Ohio, USA
July 13, 1991
Size: 10 mm
This is a new record for Ohio, and I don't mean just for Bugguide, I mean ever. This specimen represents a very significant extension of the known range for this species.

Congratulations, Nick.
Your efforts over a decade or two can no doubt result in dozens of records.

I second that!
Aside, I am proud to say that this is a specimen I collected when I lived in Cincinnati. It goes to show that it doesn't take much to make a significant contribution to science:-)

Yeah...
sorry about not giving Eric the credit for collecting it. I had given him credit for some images I'd posted other days but I posted a lot of images this time and it would have gotten a bit redundant. I'll make sure to credit him for the specimens he has collected in the next bunch of images I post.

Ha ha!
Now that you mention it I do seem to recall Nick saying on one of the recent wasp photos that he had gotten a bunch of specimens from you. Nice record, Eric!
