Tibicen lyricen (female)
Looks like an unusually dark Tibicen lyricen f. engelhardti. "Dark lyric cicada". Since you indicate it was caught in walnut tree, that is another fact that is suggestive of T. lyricen. Although this species is a generalist on a wide variety of plants, it prefers plants in the walnut/pecan family.

Dark lyric cicadas from parts of the range (esp. the Cumberland Plateau) are often very black and may exhibit little if any pattern.
