Caterpiller on Cherimoya

Caterpiller on Cherimoya
Newalla, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, USA
August 27, 2014
Size: 3/16"
I found this caterpillar on a seedling cherimoya in my greenhouse. I wasn't eating the plant, just pacing up and down the stem. Wrong host?
For the photo it was placed on a parsley leaf.

Antheraea polyphemus
Antheraea polyphemus, very late date for this early instar larva, hostplant is unusual too. I'm hesitant to move this to the species page because it may not represent a natural record.
