Identification
Outside of some better-known local faunas, identification to species is tentative at best.
Range
worldwide; in our area, mostly western but relatively well represented in the east (~17 spp.) and in Canada (12 spp.); at least 3 spp. are transcontinental(1)

endoparasitoids of Noctuidae, Lycaenidae, Tabanidae, Tenebrionidae, Myrmeleontidae(2)
